Legacy Food Group Team Steve Push

Steve Push

Chief Executive Officer
& Executive Chairman

Steve Push serves as CEO and Executive Chairman of Legacy Food Group, a holding company that was created as a platform upon which to purchase and manage mid-tier foodservice distributors. Push is responsible for creating and inspiring a talented team, ensuring a welcoming working environment, and new deal origination.

Prior to Legacy Food Group, Push served as CEO and Chairman of Legacy Foodservice Alliance, LLC, a supply chain alliance which facilitated commerce between Independent Foodservice Distributor Members and select Supplier and Manufacturer Members. LFA was comprised of approximately 170 Distributor Member locations, and approximately six hundred Supplier Members. Push founded Legacy Foodservice Alliance in Glen Allen, VA in late 2009.

Prior to LFA, Push served in a variety of senior management roles at Pocahontas Foods USA – Progressive Group Alliance from 1983-2009. Responsibilities there included Vice President of Sales – Eastern Division, VP/EVP/President of Distributor Development, and Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing.

Before joining Pocahontas, from 1978 – 1983, Push served as a Regional Sales Manager/Account Executive for Institutional Distributors, Inc., which, at that time, was an ID Top Fifty Distributor headquartered in East Bernstadt, KY.

During and after college, Push served in operations and as a Foodservice Director for Saga Foodservice – Educational Division, for various college feeding programs in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Push attended the University of Kentucky, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University, with a B.S. Degree in Food Management.

Away from work, Push enjoys his time at The Dominion Club near his home in Richmond, is a lifelong animal lover, and (knowing his heritage), is a huge college basketball fan.

John Miller

President and Chief Operating Officer

John is responsible for leading operational activities at the holding company and working with acquired companies to facilitate maximizing synergies and expansion of their local businesses. Previously, John was Region President, Sysco South Texas. John became responsible for sites in Houston and New Braunfels on March 1, 2021. Beginning in October 2018, John was responsible for Sysco Oklahoma which later expanded to the Red River Region, that included Oklahoma and Arkansas. Prior to his role in Oklahoma, John was the General Manager for Gordon Food Service – Texas Division from 2014 to 2018 and had two key senior roles with the predecessor company, Glazier Foods. John was President from 2010 to 2014 and Chief Financial Officer from 1999 to 2010. Before his career in foodservice, John spent over 12 years in the banking industry.

John holds an MBA and BBA in Finance from Baylor University. John has in-depth experience in wholesale distribution, supply chain, logistics, finance, real estate development and change management. John has also contributed to numerous industry and charitable organizations over his career. John and his wife Wendy reside in Richmond, Virginia.

Laurie Bergman

Chief Financial Officer

Laurie is the Chief Financial Officer of Legacy Food Group and brings extensive financial leadership to our team. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Liquid Environmental Solutions (June 2021 to June 2024). 

Prior to these roles, she served as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller of UGI Corporation and held various financial roles at AmeriGas Propane, Inc., a subsidiary of UGI. Prior to that, Laurie was Financial Analysis Specialist and a Disbursement Operations Manager at CIGNA Corporation. 

Laurie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). She received a bachelor’s degree in finance and master of business administration from Temple University and completed Stanford University Graduate School’s Executive Education – The Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial leadership Program.

Laurie is Board Director at QNB Corporation and Board Director and Audit Committee chair for Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. and is a member of the Global Board of Directors of the Institute of Managements Accounts. She is a member of the Temple University Accounting Advisory Board. Laurie is also passionate about the development and advancement of women throughout the region and has served as Executive Board Member, Vice Chair and Treasurer of POWER of Professional Women. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Forum of Executive Women. Laurie resides in West Chester, PA.

Troy Small

Vice President of Supply Chain

Troy Small is the Vice President of Supply Chain at Legacy Food Group, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in marketing, merchandising, and supply chain management. Since joining Legacy Food Group in January 2024, Troy has been instrumental in optimizing supply chain processes.
 
Troy’s career is marked by his ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies, identify market opportunities, and create winning brands. He is known for his innovative approach and strategic vision, consistently leading teams to achieve results.
 
Based in Houston, Texas, Troy enjoys exploring the vibrant culinary scene, staying active through cycling and running, and delving into biographies. Most importantly, he loves spending quality time with his family, including his wife and their two kids.

Vincent Luciani

Vice President Information Technology

Vincent joined Legacy Food Group in March of 2024. He is a senior Information Technology and Security leader with over 30 years of experience in the Internet Entertainment, Distribution, Finance, and Healthcare spaces, having provided the technical leadership to some of the country’s most respected companies including IAC, Lifetime Television, Koch Distribution and Smith Barney. Vincent most recently served 8+ years as CIO of Sandata Technologies. Vincent is responsible for the technology oversight for Legacy and its divisions, ensuring that best-practices, security, risk management and technology investments are well-aligned and are bringing value to the organization. 

Vincent holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Informational Sciences from Iona University and is a Certified Healthcare Information systems and Security Professional (CHISSP). Vincent currently resides in Long Island, N.Y. with his wife, Lena.

Michael Push

Supplier Revenue Specialist

Michael is the Supplier Revenue Specialist at Legacy Food Group, responsible for inputing, tracking, maintaining local & UniPro programs across distribution centers. He brings knowledge of the sensitivity and integrity needed to help companies make the decision to transition their family businesses to the next level.

Prior to 2024, Michael worked at Legacy Foodservice Alliance in a variety of roles during his 11-year career there, covering areas from finance, to sales, and eventually to operations. 

Michael graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va in 2012, earning dual degrees in both Psychology and Foreign Affairs. He enjoys enhancing his culinary skills at home and is an avid animal lover.

Senior FP&A Analyst

Lauren Hedrick is a Senior FP&A Analyst with a background in financial statement audits and transaction advisory consulting. Since joining Legacy Food Group in January 2024, Lauren has been instrumental in developing budgets, improving financial processes, and integrating acquisitions into consolidated reporting. 

Driven by a passion for continuous learning and growth, Lauren is committed to delivering insightful financial analyses that optimize financial performance and empower businesses to thrive.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Lauren enjoys exploring the growing city with friends or relaxing with a good book. She is also an avid traveler who loves the outdoors and can often be found planning her next hiking or scuba diving adventure with her boyfriend.

Katrina joined Legacy Food Group in February 2024. She is the Senior Accountant with over 25 years of experience in public accounting, manufacturing, retail, wealth management, and property management services. Katrina brings to Legacy an extensive knowledge of accounting, audit, financial reporting, business management and human resources skills.

Laura joined Legacy Food Group in May 2024 and is an Executive Assistant with over 20 years of experience working for financial institutions, marketing firms and healthcare. Laura brings to Legacy a wealth of knowledge of working with executives and customers.

Laura has a lifelong love of reading. She is an avid traveler with her husband and daughter and is always up for weekend adventures.

Jessica Rogero, Procurement Manager, Legacy Food Group

Jessica Rogero

Procurement Manager

Jessica specializes in optimizing sourcing strategies, negotiating favorable terms with vendors, and ensuring high-quality standards. Her expertise in vendor management enables her to secure advantageous contracts and build robust supplier relationships. Jessica excels in analyzing forecasts to maintain product availability and developing policies that enhance supply chain efficiency and safety.

Her diverse experience includes roles as a Product Specialist at Gordon Food Service and a Merchandiser at Sysco, where she focused on managing and strengthening vendor relationships while consistently striving for optimal product quality, availability, and competitive pricing. Additionally, Jessica successfully directs comprehensive category management initiatives, leveraging market analysis to achieve optimal product assortments and manage substantial purchasing volumes.

Her commitment to high standards of inventory control ensures consistent product quality and availability. She holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston, where she developed a strong customer focus and foundational knowledge of the food service industry.

Libby has nearly 30 years of comprehensive global experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy, business development, international business, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility.

Brian Keck

Brian was the President, Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Keck’s Food Service Inc. in Millerton, PA., prior to becoming part of the Legacy Food Service Team in 2023 as Division President of Keck’s Food Service - LFG. Brian began his professional career in the Family Business back in 1983, Brian attributes his business acumen to the culmination of 42+ years ‎of applied industry and occupational experience and overseeing and managing all aspects of the business including the Cooperative relationship with Unipro.

Michael Brooks

Michael joined Quad-C in 2007 and leads investments in transportation and logistics, specialty distribution and food and beverage sectors. Prior to joining Quad-C, Michael was in the Leveraged Finance Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where he focused on debt financing transactions and financial sponsor acquisitions in a variety of industries.

Anders Grorud

Anders joined Quad-C in 2018. Prior to joining Quad-C, Anders was an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Wells Fargo Securities, where he focused on a variety of M&A and strategic advisory assignments for public and private companies across multiple industries.

Thad Jones

Thad joined Quad-C in 1998 and leads investment activity in the specialty distribution and building products and services sectors. Prior to joining Quad-C, Thad worked in corporate finance with both Robinson-Humphrey and Croft & Bender, where he executed public offerings and private placements of debt and equity, as well as acquisitions and divestitures of public and private companies.

Since joining Quad-C in 1994, Steve has invested in the building products, business services, specialty chemicals, packaging, transportation/logistics and food sectors. Prior to joining Quad-C, Steve worked in the Risk Arbitrage Group and Leveraged Capital Group at Paribas and the Corporate Development Group at W.R. Grace.
